We can't change history...

Until we realize as a nation that #KKK and #BLM are nothing more than forms of segregation and start working together because #ALM then we are going to keep going backwards in America.

A friend of mine said recently, "We have made a complete 180 in this country and we are marching backwards as though we are moving forward."

That statement hits it right on the head. We are rapidly marching back into the 1950's and pretending that we are progressing. We made huge strides in eliminating racism in the 2nd half of the 20th Century but now we seem to miss it and want to go back. Not all of us want that but it is happening. Just think about how far we advanced since The Civil Rights Act of 1964 which outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It was the greatest thing to happen for racism since Abraham Lincoln. However, for the last couple of years we have been trying to throw all of that progress away. I'm Irish and my people were slaves but not any of us that are alive today. I can't be mad about something that happened 150 years ago. Do you realize that most of us doing the complaining about something that happened before our time wouldn't even be in America if our ancestors hadn't been slaves? We may not have been born at all.

There is a lady in my state in Louisville, KY who is a #BLM leader who has issued a list of demands from white people because her ancestors were slaves. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. One of her demands is that we put black families in our wills so they can receive our money and property when we die. Everybody seems to want something for nothing. As I stated before, I'm Irish and my people were slaves so am I considered white? Should my possessions go to people that haven't earned them? Who is supposed to give me free stuff because my people were slaves? It's a ridiculous concept. If we want something we have to earn it. Sticking our hands out and demanding something is not the way to get it.

We are rapidly heading down the path to another civil war and if you can't see that you're brainwashed or you're wearing blinders. I'm not sure how this civil war will play out but it's coming. Will it be blacks against whites? Democrats against Republicans? North against South? History preservers against history destroyers? A combination of all of the above? That would be a very confusing war, and for what? Because of things that happened before we were born. Think about how stupid that is. Think about how many people will lose their lives over a past that can't be changed. You can tear down our history and pretend that it never happened but it will still be there. You can remove it from history books and television but it will still be there. People are attacking statues, TV shows, movies, they are even attacking Gone With The Wind. What would happen if a theater tried to show Roots now? These movies only depict the truth of our history. Things that actually happened. Things that future generations can learn from. Take these things away and they are doomed to repeat history because they'll have no frame of reference of how it used to be.

KKK History Lesson

For some reason, recently, people have been associating the KKK with Republicans and BLM with Democrats. This is all propaganda that is being fed to us. Here’s a little history lesson and an explanation of why: Both the KKK and BLM were created by Democrats. You didn't expect me to say that did you? Actually, the KKK wasn't started to be a black and white thing. The original targets of the Ku Klux Klan were Republicans, both black and white. For decades the KKK harassed the GOP with lynchings and threats. An estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites died at the end of KKK ropes from 1882 to 1964. Republicans often led the efforts to pass federal anti-lynching laws and their platforms consistently called for a ban on lynching. Democrats successfully blocked those bills and their platforms never did condemn lynchings. Further, the first grand wizard of the KKK was honored at the 1868 Democratic National Convention, no Democrats voted for the 14th Amendment to g

Health Insurance vs Health Care

Everyone is arguing about health insurance these days and most don't even understand what they're arguing about.  There's a reason for that.  This is a complicated mess.      Before Obamacare (ACA) our system was set up so that the poor had Medicaid, the elderly and disabled had Medicare, and the people still in the workforce could purchase their insurance from whatever company they wanted to within their state.  Of course, a lot of people also had insurance through their employers.      So, who are the 22,000,000 people that Democrats say will lose insurance if we repeal Obamacare?  Are they the people that can work and get their own instead of using taxpayer money?  Are they the people that don't even want it but are being mandated to buy it?  Who exactly are these people?  The truth is that 16,000,000 or 73% don't even want it.  They have it because their only other choice is to pay a fine and they figure they might as well get something for their money
